I’m Not Going To Lie

I'm not going to lie. It's been an interesting week.  And I don't mean "bad".  A real mixed bag, actually. Last week I had arthroscopic knee surgery.  So that's a thing.  I'm doing well.  And, it's still a thing. At the same time, business is hopping!  I think I underestimated what a big deal it is to work full time while only having had surgery a few days earlier.  And, I'm not complaining.  My ideal clients are coming to me, and I love doing this work. And then there are just a lot of people around me going through challenges ...

Do You Hate Valentine’s Day?

While it may be true that much of the Valentine's Day hype is commercially based, so what? That's the case with most holidays.  The question is, are we going to let capitalism dictate our behavior by NOT celebrating perfectly wonderful things, like love? And unlike some holidays, there actually is some kind of grain of truth in this one.  Valentine's Day is connected to love.  What is now Valentine's Day was said to have started out as the Roman festival of Lupercalia, which celebrated the rituals of spring and ended with men and women being paired ...

A Sparkly Star

Here's a poem I wrote some time ago, that I got the impulse to share today.  Maybe some of you can relate.  We all have different parts of ourselves.                                                                              A Sparkly Star I came with my case of toilet paperAnd my case of paper towelsAnd toddler wipes, to keep the buttocks clean, but of course&...

Are You Loving Yourself With Boundaries?

Boundaries have been coming up for me SO MUCH lately!  As I raise the bar with my own boundaries- again, defined by Brene Brown as “what’s okay, what’s not okay”- the next opportunity to inquire into and define my boundaries comes up. What I know about setting and keeping clear boundaries is that it is way the hell up there with top ways for us to love ourselves. The first time I heard that, it struck me as odd, or at least as a thought I’d never had before.  And, in time, I’ve come to realize how true that really is. I do recommend giving some ...

Are You Connected?

Today's topic, CONNECTION can be defined, according to yours truly, as "Consciousness joining with Itself."   You may or not know this about me...I am a channel.  When I'm in the zone, I download information directly from the Divine Itself.  I downloaded that definition from God/dess as I was narrowing down my values to write my business plan, years ago.  More accurately, I could say, that's the definition of "connection" according to God/dess. Going back even more years, when I became an exotic dancer to pay for Life Coaching school, one of ...

Are You Allowing Yourself To Receive?

That was a pretty big jump for me, especially since I was riding on a lot of long hills in Rockport, whereas at home the hills are fairly minor.  And, oh yeah, it was in the middle of a heatwave!  I was EXHAUSTED going up some of those hills, despite the gorgeous seaside views.  I decided to use a technique I had learned years ago, where I call in what I call "unemployed angels", angels who are hanging out waiting for someone to ask them for help.  (Yes, they exist!  And by spiritual law, they can't help unless you ask.)  It's customary ...

Soul S.E.X.

There's no doubt that, as human beings, sex can and often does feel terrific- whether it's masturbation, or sex with partners. In fact, it feels so good that often we tend to think it's enough. What more could we want? Human touch, pleasure, endorphins...what's not to love, right? I agree, and there is so much more if we choose it. If we go deeper, to a realm of spirituality and possibilities. Making love with our souls is magical. What if you're not having a great time with sex? Or, you used to enjoy it, and now you're kind of bored? No matter what your ...

Pretty Bows

There's a Blood Moon eclipse on my birthday, this Monday the 21st. It is connected to the rising of the Divine Feminine in this new era. (The word is, if you've been feeling a little funky lately, you're not alone. A lot of us more sensitive people have had emotional turmoil as the eclipse approaches. ) In this age, we hear a lot of talk about the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. Many say it is the time of healing the Divine Feminine and Masculine.  Yet, saying that they need healing is like saying God/dess needs healing. If the Divine Feminine ...

A Sparkly Star

I came with my case of toilet paper And my case of paper towels And toddler wipes, to keep the buttocks clean, but of course not to clog the toilet with I came trying to put on the face of order And: 'It's all under control I'm organized I do things the smart way, can't you see?' And, 'You should strive to be more like me' I came as a terrified little girl 'Am I sure I'm ready for this? What if he sees through? That inside I am not so sure of myself And echoes of Mom still play in my head: You're not good enough You're not wanted here You're doing it ...

What I Require

I've been having some pretty crazy-good experiences since getting back from Puerto Rico.  So much gratitude for so many of my sisters and brothers on their own journeys.  Sometimes I am in the role of provider of love, opportunity for healing, all the good things...sometimes I am in the role of receiver.  Or is there really a difference, I ask myself, between giving and receiving?  (No.) One of the gifts I have received in the last couple months is the chance to do some work with a very skilled teacher of Family Constellations, Suzi Tucker.  I think I heard of this ...
