As you may know, I committed to practicing self yoni massage every day about a week and a half ago.
(By the way, I figured out all I have to do to make sure I keep my commitments is to announce to all of you that I’m going to do something. I haven’t missed a day, and I wouldn’t dream of it!)
In addition to the amazing stress relief benefits I told you about the other day, the practice is already starting to help with my self-love. Now, there’s an area we can all use more help with!
I’ve long ago done the exercise of looking at my yoni using a hand mirror to get to know every part of her. Because of that, one thing I know about my yoni is that one of my inner labia is not like the other. It has an extra fold of skin attached to it. Just like in nature—for example, a four-leafed clover—sometimes variations exist.
But I, like most humans, did not appreciate the difference in my own body. Rather, I made it into a negative thing in my mind. I thought of it as something different in a bad way and felt self-conscious about it.
I noticed that negative feeling toward one side of my inner labia while I was doing my self yoni massage practice one day. And I realized: this part of my body deserves just as much love as its counterpart. So I re-massaged this one side of my inner labia, this time with more care and love. And now, each day when I do my self-massage, I give particular care to do just that.
Perhaps as a yoni-owning person, you also have complaints about some aspect of your yoni. Some parts you may consider too big, too stretched out, too hairy, etc. I encourage you to learn and try this powerful yoni massage technique so you, too, can start loving your own yoni more.
