Transcending the Ego
This summer has been the summer of intense experiences. Intensely challenging experiences in some ways, which have led to intensely ecstatic experiences.
I'm running four to five miles at a time while going at a faster pace than I've been used to. I'm at the dentist's office, in excruciating pain- for hours. I'm lying on a table, getting needles repeatedly stuck into me. For hours. On skin this is inflamed and red already. (Yes, I am getting a new tattoo. I am not THAT much of a masochist.) ;)

In my spiritual evolution, I have come to a place of understanding not just with my mind, also with my heart and body- in my cells even- that I AM God/dess. For me, the days of praying to some "God" that is separate from me are over. I don't really pray anymore. I connect in. I remember who I really am.

So THIS Happened
Last week, I went to the dentist to get a crown replaced. Normally, this is not expected to be a painful experience; there was no Novocain necessary, or so we thought. So you can only imagine my surprise when my dentist, not by any fault of her own, ran into a complication that ended up involving quite a bit of gum-bloodying pain. (I promise, this won't get any more graphic than it already has, for those of you with a weak stomach.)

A Fucking Good Mood
I am in a really fucking good mood right now. I mean REALLY fucking good! The kind of mood where I feel an abundance of energy coursing through my body, I feel love for myself and everyone else, and I am having one creative, fun thought after another. Yeah, that kind of good mood.

My Unlikely Bedfellows
I guess I've been a crystal lover since I was a little kid. I just now realized that! Recently, I was in a session with a client, (discussing spiritual stuff, as is often the case) and we were talking about listening to our messages. You know...those impulses that come into our heads and nudge us to do something? Yeah, those. She was saying how many times she doesn't follow hers because she feels she is "going against God."
