So THIS Happened

Last week, I went to the dentist to get a crown replaced.  Normally, this is not expected to be a painful experience; there was no Novocain necessary, or so we thought.  So you can only imagine my surprise when my dentist, not by any fault of her own, ran into a complication that ended up involving quite a bit of gum-bloodying pain.  (I promise, this won’t get any more graphic than it already has, for those of you with a weak stomach.)

Simply the experience of getting a tooth drilled tends to create tenseness in my body, so when I get dental work done, I usually start a breathing technique just as soon as the dentist pries my mouth open.  This helps to relax and calm me, and usually results in the dentist remarking about what a good patient I am.  As you will soon see, I was about to bring “being a good patient” to a whole new level!

Starting out, it was no different than usual.  I did a breathing technique I had learned in life coaching school, then remembered about the Tantric breathing technique I had been doing when I had that full-body orgasm not too long before.  Why not?  If regular breathing is good, Tantric breathing will be even better, I thought!

It was no ordinary dentist visit.  I ended up being there for almost three hours.  As you can imagine, I had plenty of time to focus on my breathing.  It was a strange experience.  When the pain started, I would notice it and start to freak out a little in my head, thinking awful thoughts about just how bad this could get.  Then I’d re-focus onto the Tantric breathing, bringing the Life Force Energy up from Mother Earth through my root chakra, and all the way up to exit my body through my crown chakra at the top of my head.  I would then loop the energy back down to the root as I breathed out, and repeat that sequence.  I kept getting distracted by the pain, then would re-focus on the breathing.  This on for sixty to ninety minutes.

As time passed, the yummy sexual feelings grew up through my “inner flute” (seven main chakras).  I started to get that feeling like my chakras were just blown wide open, like there was a highway of Life Force Energy being built up through the center of my body, getting longer and wider with each breath.  Then, I could feel the vibration starting.  It felt like my entire inner flute and then every cell in my body was vibrating.  All the way out to the tips of my fingers and toes.  Curiosuly, 😉  I wasn’t noticing the pain much anymore.

I realized I was having a full-body orgasm in the dentist’s chair!  It was pretty surreal.  Kind of like tripping on acid in a public place.  Like, I have a big secret, and you don’t know it.  Or at least I really, really hope you don’t know it!  I’ll admit, it was disconcerting.  I felt like my entire body was visibly vibrating, but I’m 99% percent sure that was just my paranoia.  At one point the dentist asked me if I was okay.  I think she was afraid I was hyperventilating.  Of course, I only said “yes”, but inside I was thinking:  “Oh, if you only knew!”

Obviously, this was a great solution to the worst dental pain I have ever experienced in my life.  It was also much more than that.  It was an even deeper learning about choice.  I have long known this:  we always have a choice in every situation. Yet, who would have known how far choice can go?  How true that really is?

Going from dental hell to full-body orgasm has got to be one of the greatest contrasts I have ever created, especially in such a short span of time.  If I can pull off feats like that, so can you.  You are a child of God/dess just as I am.

What would you like to transcend in YOUR life?

I appreciate you sharing your crown breathing transformation experience. Interestingly, I had a similar experience having a root canal. I new going in that I didn’t want to put any toxins into my body, so I found a coach who had done dental work with out novacain or whatever they do to numb the teeth. I went in with confidence, but like you did Tantric breathing. I re-imagined the drilling as “intense vibration” in one tiny spot my mouth … much like “intense sexual vibration” in the genital area. I used the Tantric practice of “spreading the vibration” to allow the vibration to spread from my mouth down to my shoulders. Once there, the vibration actually became pleasurable. So, I breathed and spread the vibration rippling down my arms, torso and rest of my body. Then, the dentist stopped suddenly and starting packing up instruments. “Is something wrong?” I asked. “No, we’re finished!” I went right from there to speaking on stage at the local parks and recreation department without numbness or marshmellowmouth. What a fun use of Tantric practices in a chair known for pain and numbing! 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Maria! ~Avinash

Yes! I love hearing these kinds of stories that are contrary to what many think is possible. Pleasure in a dentist’s chair? Absolutely. We are powerful creators when we choose to focus our energy. Thank you for reading and also for sharing your own experience! Maria
