S.E.X.- It’s Not What You Think it Is
Many of you who’ve been around me for years know that Synergistic Energy Exchange is not necessarily synonymous with sex. What is S.E.X., then? It’s a cooperative exchange of energy between two or more beings. The truth is, S.E.X. is happening all the time even though we don’t always think of it or know it when it’s occurring. For example, if you and I are sitting in a room meditating together, our blended energies create an enhanced meditation experience and, technically, we are having S.E.X.- with all our clothes on, and while not even touching! Based on what I just shared, I’m sure you can now come up with many, many examples of S.E.X. that don’t look anything like sex, right? However, in my work I am most interested in two particular types of S.E.X. These are: 1. S.E.X. within the one body. This includes a “cooperative exchange of energy” between the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine in each of us. We each have a sacred masculine and a sacred feminine part of ourselves, the part of ourselves that represents God and Goddess in each of us. The masculine expresses itself in taking the initiative, being decisive, directive, giving, active, linear, and logical. The feminine expresses itself through being sensual, flowing, intuitive, receiving, patient, and creative. When we are not denying any part of ourselves, when we are loving and accepting all parts of ourselves, so that the masculine and feminine are appropriately balanced, we are actually falling more deeply in love with ourselves. This is the highest expression of S.E.X. in the one body: sacred union through S.E.X. of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine in the one body. 2. S.E.X. in the two bodies. Now, let’s say two (or more, technically) people have sex with each other. All sex is in fact S.E.X. However, the highest expression of S.E.X. happens when two people who have already created sacred union within themselves (“the one body”) get in a relationship together. Those people are considered to be in sacred relationship with one another. Both have fallen deeply in love with themselves and can now enhance that self-love and share their love in sacred relationship. When those two people have S.E.X., that is the highest expression of sacred union in the two bodies. They have the opportunity to worship not only the Sacred Masculine and Sacred Feminine within themselves, but also in another. They see their own Divinity reflected in their partner. Do you know what THAT kind of S.E.X. is called? Yummy! 😉 (Fooled you there, huh? I’ll bet you thought I was going to stay all serious on you!) So, yeah, for those of you who thought my work was all about helping people have sex, or better sex, you were right- and wrong. It’s really about helping people be in sacred relationship with themselves first. And then helping them be in sacred relationship with each other. So, might that lead to better sex? Hell yes…and that part is just the icing on the cake!
